To install, I'm merely using the Silverlight.dmg file and its installer to install. We use these channels to slowly roll out updates to users, starting with our close to daily Canary channel builds, all the way up to our Stable channel releases that happen every 6 weeks roughly. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing Silverlight but without success. Chrome supports a number of different release channels.

Silverlight can be run Out-Of browser, but it happen when we can access to the page, right click and install out of browser. I had Silverlight version 4 installed before but never got it to work (I don't know if this was before or after my Yosemite update.)
